OASIS supplies high-quality surgical and dry eye products to eye care professionals that provide solutions for chronic conditions and make a meaningful difference in patients’ quality of life. We offer a wide range of more than 300 ophthalmic and optometric accessories, supplies and instruments in approximately 120 countries worldwide.

I manage the engineering and maintenance staff, conducting project management for all operations projects from product developments, product and process improvements to original equipment manufacturer projects. I apply statistical methods, such as process capability data analysis and statistical process control, to ensure process capability and repeatability. I also develop standard operating procedures, work instructions, product and material specifications as well as conduct process validations.

The best part of my job is the teamwork involved in providing the best quality product to customers. My colleagues are professional, talented, humble and willing to teach and learn from each other. I enjoy working for a company that is innovative in promoting professional and personal development by giving all employees the opportunity to reach their full potential. I’m passionate about playing an integral role in addressing the health needs of our society, and my position allows me to do exactly that. It gives me great satisfaction and joy knowing that my work will aid in providing the gift of sight to someone.

My perfect day at work would involve a gemba walk around the operations facility, greeting my colleagues, responding to morning emails, reviewing action items, conducting time studies, analyzing data, developing recommendations for process improvements, facilitating a successful project plan, and sharing this experience with the amazing team.
